Configure Device menu

Use the CONFIGURE DEVICE menu to change or reset the default print settings, to adjust the print quality, and to change the system configuration and I/O options. The five CONFIGURE DEVICE sub- menus are described in the sections below.

Printing sub-menu

These settings affect only jobs that do not have identified properties. Most jobs identify all of the properties and override the values that are set from this menu. This menu can also be used to set the default paper size and type.

Sets the default number of copies. The default number of copies is 1.

A list of available sizes

Sets the default paper size.

Sets the default size for any custom job without dimensions. Available

Enables or disables the duplex function (automatic 2-sided printing).

Defines whether a duplex job will be flipped on the long edge or the short

Selects a version of the Courier font. The default is REGULAR.
