To load media in the IN tray

1Adjust the print settings in your software program and the HP 2000C printer driver to match the paper type, size, and orientation of the paper you are using. (See the topic ÒChange Print SettingsÓ on the How Do I? tab in the HP 2000C Toolbox).

2 Slide the paper width adjuster to the left and slide the paper length adjuster out to make room for the paper, transparencies, or envelopes.

3Place a stack (up to 5/8 in. or 16 mm thick) of paper, transparencies, or envelopes print side down in the IN tray with the right side of the stack against the right

side of the tray, and push in the stack until it stops.

The OUT tray can be lifted and clicked into a raised position while loading media. This is especially helpful when loading smaller media. Be sure to lower the tray before printing.

4Readjust the paper width and length adjusters to

fit snugly against the stackÕs edges without bending the media.
