Daily Care and Cleaning

CAUTION

Clean the outside of the gun daily with a soft cloth

Do not immerse the gun in fluid.

Clean the air cap and fluid nozzle daily, minimum.

Fluid in the air passages could cause the gun to

 

malfunction and could draw current and reduce the

 

electrostatic effect. Fluid in the power supply cavity

 

can reduce the alternator life. Do not use any

cleaning method which could allow fluid into the

 

gun air passages.

 

Hang the gun with its nozzle pointing down when it

 

is not being used.

 

Clean the workpiece hangers with non-sparking

 

tools.

 

Clean the fluid and air line filters daily.

 

Check the movement of the trigger and valves.

 

Lubricate if necessary.

 

Do not point the gun up while cleaning it.

Do not wipe the gun with a cloth that is heavily satu-

 

rated; wring out the excess fluid.
