H. Install the Remote Cover Plate

The remote cover plate shipped in the bottom of the appliance MUST be placed over the control plate before operating the appliance. Not doing so may result in over- heating the controls on the plate.

Install the Cover Plate

Locate cover plate (see Figure 12.4) and remove from appliance.

Bend four legs at 90° angle.

Place over control plate so that all of the control plate is covered and legs are on bottom pan of appliance. See Figures 12.6 and 12.7.

Make sure all wires are under the top of the cover plate and that there are no wires pinched between legs and the bottom pan.
