Zipper foot

By using the zipper foot. zipper sewing can be easily

accomplished.

First sew the left side of the zipper.

A. Attach the zipper foot so that the presser foot holder

catches right side of the pin ®.

B. Turn the stitch selection dial and select straight

stitch (Stitch No2). Set the stitch width to

and

thestitch length between and 3”.

C.Baste the zipper and fabric together as illustrated.

D.Place the fabric so that the zipper is on the right side of the foot.

4E. • Lower the presser foot lift,

Sew until the foot slightly touches the slider and

stops the machine. F. Lower the needle.

Raise the presser foot lifter.

• Turn the fabric and move the slider behind the

presser foot.

Lower the presser foot and sew to the end.

G. Remove the foot and attach to the left side of the

presser foot pin @,

Sew the right side of the zipper following the same

stepsD—R

*Sewing toward same direction will eliminate uneven finishes.

Cosa primero el lado izquierdo de Ia cremallera.

A.lnstal el prensatelas para cremalleras procuran que el soporte de este quede sujeto a Ia varilla di derecha ®.

B.Gire el selector de punto para seleccionar el punt

recto (n°2). Seleccione una anchura de puntada 1

y una longitud de puntada de 6

C. Coloque Ia tela sobre Ia cremallera e hilvánelas.

0.Coloque Ia tela debajo del prensatelas, con Ia cremallera del lade derecho de éste.

E. Baje Ia palanca. del prensatelas.

Cosa hasta que el prensatelas toque ligerament el cursor y pare Ia maquina.

F.Baje Ia aguja.

Suba Ia palanca del prensatelas.

Gire Is tela pars colocar el cursor deträs del

prensatelas.

Baje el prensatelas y siga cosiendo hasta elfin G. ‘ Suelte el prensatelas y sujete el soporte del

prensatelas a Ia varilla de Ia izquierda del

prensatelas .

Cosa el lado derecho de Ia cremallera como se indica en los puntos D a F.

*Cosiendo en la misrna dirección se mejora 51 resultado evitando costuras desiguales.
