INTRODUCTION
To get the best out of your new hand mixer, please read through these instructions carefully before using it for the first time. We also recommend that you keep the instructions for future reference, so that you can remind yourself of the functions of the hand mixer.
SAFETY MEASURES
•Incorrect use of the hand mixer may cause personal injury and damage to the hand mixer.
•Use the hand mixer for its intended purpose only. The manufacturer is not responsible for any damage resulting from incorrect use or handling (see also Guarantee Terms).
•The hand mixer may only be connected to 230 V, 50 Hz.
•The hand mixer or the cord must not be placed in water or any other liquid. If you drop the hand mixer in water by accident, or it gets wet in any other way, you must immediately remove the plug from the socket and get an authorised repair engineer to examine the hand mixer before you use it again. It is extremely important that you follow these instructions, as water in the hand mixer could give rise to fatal electric shocks.
•Never try to open the cabinet yourself and never force objects into it.
•Do not use the hand mixer when your hands are wet, when the floor is wet or when the hand mixer itself is wet. Never touch the plug with wet or damp hands.
•Check regularly that the cord and plug are not damaged and do not use the hand mixer if this is the case, or if the hand mixer has been dropped or damaged in any other way. If the hand mixer, cord or plug is damaged, the hand mixer must be inspected and, if necessary, repaired by an authorised repair engineer, otherwise there is a risk
of electric shock. Never try to repair the hand mixer yourself.
•Do not allow the cord to hang over the edge of the counter, and keep it away from hot objects and naked flames. Avoid pulling the cord when removing the plug from the socket. Instead, hold the plug. Check that it is not possible to pull or trip over the hand mixer cable or any extension cord.
•This hand mixer is not suitable for commercial or outdoor use.
•Never leave the hand mixer unattended when in use and keep an eye on children. The plug should always be removed from the socket after use or when cleaning.
•Always keep the hand mixer out of the reach of children.
•Never lift the hand mixer by its upper section, and never change the mixing or whisking tools while the hand mixer is running. Only use the accessories that accompany the hand mixer, otherwise the guarantee will become void. The hand mixer must not be switched on unless there is something to mix or whisk in it.
•The bowl must be secured in the correct position before switching on the hand mixer. The bowl must never be removed while the hand mixer is running.
•If you touch the bowl with a spatula or similar utensil while the hand mixer is running, make sure that your fingers and the spatula do not touch the mixing or whisking tools.
•Do not leave the hand mixer running for more than 5 minutes at a time. Switch the hand mixer off after 5 minutes of constant use and allow it to cool for a few minutes before using it again.
