Connecting to refrigerator

1.Disconnect the tube clamp on the back of the product and insert copper tubing through the clamp as shown at the right. Attach the copper tube to the valve inlet using a compression nut and sleeve as shown. Tighten the compression nut. Do not overtighten. Reattach the tube clamp and tube to the back of the cabinet.

2.Turn shut-off valve ON. CHECK FOR LEAKS. TIGHTEN ANY CONNECTIONS (INCLUDING CONNECTIONS AT THE VALVE) OR NUTS THAT LEAK.

3.The ice maker is equipped with a built-in water screen. However, for long lasting operation, install a filter (part number 4378411) between the shut-off valve and the refrigerator.

4.After complete installation, plug in refrigerator or reconnect power supply and push it back into place.

5.Check to make sure the refrigera- tor is level. (See “Leveling and door alignment” earlier in this section.)

1.Déconnecter la bride du tube à l’arrière de l’appareil et faire passer le tube en cuivre dans la bride d’immobilisation tel qu’illustré à gauche. Connecter le tube en cuivre au robinet d’eau en utilisant un raccord à compression (bague de compression plus écrou) tel qu’illustré. Serrer l’écrou de compression. Ne pas serrer excessivement. Réattacher la bride du tube et le tube à l’arrière du cabinet.

2.Ouvrir le robinet d’arrêt. IN-

3.La machine à glaçons est équipée d’un filtre àeau incorporé. Toute- fois, pour une opération très durable, installer un filtre (pièce nº 4378411) entre le robinet d’arrêt et le réfrigérateur.

4.Après l’installation, rebrancher le réfrigérateur à la source du courant électrique et le pousser en place.

5.Vérifier pour s’assurer que le réfrigérateur est de niveau. (Voir “Nivellement et alignement des portes.”)
