Using the ice and water dispensers (cont.)

The water dispenser

Chilled water comes from a tank behind the meat drawer. It holds approximately 11⁄2 quarts (1.5 L).

When the refrigerator is first

hooked up, press the water dis- penser bar with a glass or jar until you draw and discard 2 or 3 quarts (1.9 to 2.8 L). It will take three to four minutes for the water to begin dispensing. The water you draw and discard rinses the tank and pipes.

Allow several hours to chill a new tankful.

IMPORTANT: The small removable tray at the bottom of the dispenser is designed to catch small spills and allow for easy cleaning. There is no drain in the tray. The tray can be removed from the dispenser and carried to the sink to be emptied or cleaned.

To dispense water:

1.Press a glass against the water dispenser lever.

2.Remove the glass to stop dispensing.

NOTE: Dispense enough water every week to maintain a fresh supply.

L’eau refroidie provient d’un réservoir placé derrière le bac à viande. Sa contenance est d’environ 1,5 L

(11⁄2 pinte).

Lors du branchement initial du réfrigérateur, appuyer sur le levier du distributeur d’eau avec un verre ou autre récipient pour puiser de 1,9 à 2,8 L (2 ou 3 pintes) d’eau qui sera jetée. Il faudra de trois à quatre minutes pour que la distribution de l’eau commence. Cette eau ainsi puisée et jetée rince le réservoir et les tuyauteries.

Laisser ensuite le contenu du réservoir neuf plein se refroidir pendant plusieurs heures.

IMPORTANT : Le petit plateau amovible situé sous le distributeur est conçu pour recevoir les renverse- ment et permet aussi un nettoyage facile. Il n’y pas d’écoulement dans le plateau. Le plateau peut être enlevé du distributeur et transporté à l’évier pour être vidé ou nettoyé.

Distribution d’eau :

1.Appuyer un verre contre le levier du distributeur d’eau.

2.Retirer le verre pour discontinuer l’écoulement.

REMARQUE : Puiser une quantité suffisante d’eau chaque semaine pour renouveler l’eau du réservoir.
