SETTING THE CONTROLS

When you first install your refrigerator, set the Refrigerator and Freezer Controls at the mid-setting(s). Give your refrigerator time to cool down completely before adding food. It is best to wait 24 hours before adding food.

IMPORTANT: If you add food before the refrigerator has cooled completely, your food may spoil. Turning the Refrigerator and Freezer controls to a higher than recom- mended setting will not cool the compartments any faster.

How the controls work

There are two controls in your refrig- erator compartment. Knowing how each one works will help you set the controls properly for your own household conditions.

3.Give the refrigerator time to cool down completely before adding food. This may take several hours.

The settings indicated above should be correct for normal, household refrigerator usage. The controls are set correctly when milk or juice is as cold as you like and when ice cream is firm. If you need to adjust these settings, see “Changing the control settings” section.

NOTE: The Automatic Exterior Moisture control continuously guards against mositure buildup on the outside of your refrigerator cabinet. This control does not have to be set or adjusted.

Les réglages indiqués ci-dessus doivent être corrects pour l’utilisation normale d’un réfrigéra- teur dans une maison. Si les réglages sont faits correctement lorsque le lait ou le jus est aussi froid que vous aimez les boire ou lorsque la crème glacée est ferme. Si vous désirez ajuster ces réglages, voir la section “Change- ment du réglage des commandes”.

REMARQUE : Le réglage automatique de l’humidité à l’extérieur protège continuellement contre l’accumulation d’humidité à l’extérieur du cabinet du réfrigérateur. Ce réglage n’a pas besoin d’être fait ou ajusté.
