Cooktop Use

FLAME HEIGHT

The correct height of the flame mainly depends on the size of the bottom of the cooking utensil, the material of the cooking utensil, the amount and type of food and the amount of liquid in the utensil. Following are some basic rules for selecting flame height.

For safety reasons the flame must never extend beyond the bottom of the cooking utensil. Never allow flames to curl up the side of the pan.

Utensils which conduct heat slowly (such as glass-ceramic) should be used with medium to low flames. If you are cooking with a large amount of liquid, a slightly larger flame can be used.

BURNERS

SEALED TOP BURNERS (w/ Grates removed)

The Sealed Top Burners must be kept clean. Cleaning of the sealed top burners should include the igniter.

The cooktop burners have an infinite number of heat set- tings and there are no fixed positions on the control knobs between HI and LO. To turn the cooktop burner on, push in on the control knob and turn it counterclock- wise to the “LITE” position. An audible clicking sound will be heard. When the gas has been ignited by the electronic spark igniter, turn the knob to the desired setting. (This step turns off the igniter and the clicking sound should stop.)

NOTE: The igniter will continue to click as long as a control knob is in the “LITE” position.

CAUTION: When turning on any cooktop burner, be sure to stop at the “LITE” position before turning the burner to a flame setting for cooking. If the burner is not lit and it is turned beyond the “LITE” position, to HI, MEDIUM, or LO, there will be a burst of flame when the burner does light. This could cause burns or damage to the surrounding countertop.

BURNER GRATES

The burner grates are heavy cast iron. They were designed in sections to make them easier to remove and clean.

One of the standout features of the RGSC-305 series is the powerful 30,000 BTU burners. Each grill comes equipped with three high-performance burners designed for excellent heat distribution and rapid ignition. The stainless steel U-shaped burners ensure durability and longevity while providing unmatched cooking performance. The inclusion of a dedicated side burner offers versatility, allowing users to prepare sauces or side dishes while grilling.

The cooking surface of these grills is made from premium stainless steel, providing ample space and excellent heat retention. The grill's cooking grates are made from durable cast stainless steel, which enhances flavor and sears meat beautifully. Additionally, the grills come equipped with a built-in infrared rotisserie burner, making it easy to roast meats evenly and achieve that perfect flavor.

Another notable feature is the comprehensive temperature control. Each RGSC-305 model features precise temperature gauges that help users monitor cooking temperatures accurately. This ensures that food is cooked to perfection every time. The lids are double-walled, which provides better heat retention and contributes to more efficient cooking.

For ease of use, the RGSC-305 series includes an easy-to-clean design. The stainless steel surfaces are resistant to rust and stains, making maintenance a breeze. The grease management system channels drippings away from the burners, preventing flare-ups and keeping the grill cleaner for longer periods.

When it comes to aesthetics, the RGSC-305 series offers various color options including white, stainless steel, black, porcelain, and green. This allows consumers to choose a grill that best matches their outdoor decor. Each model is designed with side shelves that provide extra workspace and can be easily folded when not in use, adding to the functionality.
