NOTE: NEVER ATTACH MOWER TO TRACTOR WITH A PIN NOT HAVING A NUT.

The two halves of the Clevis must be bolted together securely to carry the load properly without springing or breaking the Clevis.

DANGER! Failure to adjust the Drawbar to the CORRECT LENGTH, failure to PROVIDE DRAWBAR CLEARANCE sufficient for short turns, and/or failure to ATTACH CLEVIS TO THE DRAWBAR correctly and securely MAY ALLOW THE MOWER TO SEPARATE FROM THE TRACTOR AND/OR THE DRIVELINE HALVES TO SEPARATE WHICH CAN CAUSE SERIOUS BODILY INJURY OR DEATH TO THE OPERATOR OR OTHERS.

SAFETY CHAINS - PULL TYPE

When towing implements on the highway, use safety chain supplied with Implement. This will control the implement in the event the hitch pin is lost.

After attaching the safety chain, make a trial run by driving the tractor to the right and to the left for a short distance to check safety chain adjustment. If necessary, readjust to eliminate tight or loose chain.
