VÉRIFICATION DES BOUGIES

Remplacer la bougie toutes les 100 heures d’utilisation ou une fois par an.

REMARQUE: Une extrémité de fils de bougie débranchée risque de provoquer des étincelles. Remplacer l’extrémité si elle est endommagée.

VÉRIFICATION DU CIRCUIT DE REFROIDISSEMENT DU MOTEUR

VÉRIFICATION DU SILENCIEUX

Vérifier que le silencieux n’est pas fendu, usé, sale ou autrement endommagé.

PRUDENCE: Remplacer

immédiatement un silencieux usé. L’utilisation d’un silencieux usé peut provoquer un incendie ou une explosion.

AVERTISSEMENT: Les SURFACES CHAUDES peuvent provoquer des blessures graves, voire mortelles. NE PAS toucher les pièces quand elles sont chaudes. Les laisser refroidir.

Pour éviter de surchauffer, l’air doit circuler facilement autour des ailettes de refroidis- sement, de la tête et du bloc-cylindres.

Toutes les 100 heures de fonctionnement ou annuellement (plus souvent si les conditions le demandent), déposer le boîtier de la soufflante et nettoyer les ailettes. Voir le manuel du moteur pour de plus amples instructions.

ENTRETIEN ET RÉGLAGES

PRUDENCE: ÉVITER LES BLESSURES. Lire et comprendre toute la section Sécurité avant de poursuivre.

POSITION POUR L’ENTRETIEN

Placer la machine en position d’entretien pour faciliter l’accès en dessous du carter.

PRUDENCE: Eviter les éclabous- sures de carburant. Procéder comme indiqué ci-dessous pour éviter les éclaboussures. Si le carburant fuit dans le filtre à air, remplacer le filtre à air. TOUJOURS nettoyer le carburant renversé.

1.Placer la machine sur une surface plane.

2.Débrancher le fil de la bougie.

3.Déposer le bouchon de carburant, placer un morceau de sac en plastique sur l’ouverture et bien refermer le bouchon.

4.Faire basculer la machine sur le côté droit.

S’assurer que la machine est bien calée et qu’elle ne va pas se renverser.

IMPORTANT: Retirer le morceau de plastique du bouchon du carburant une fois la machine retournée et l’entretien terminé.
