5 Configuring IDE Software RAID

Fail Physical Drive if

Marks drive as Failed when error threshold is reached. After

Note: S.M.A.R.T. stands for Self-Monitoring, Analysis, and Reporting Technology. This feature is built into the hard drive that checks for potential problems that can crash the hard drive. Not all hard drives have this feature.
