Listening with the headphones

Connect the stereo headphones (not supplied) with the stereo mini-jack to the PHONES jack. Stereo broadcasts are heard in stereo.

When the headphones are connected, sound from the speaker will not be heard.

When the display changes to the clock

The unit is factory-set to change the display to the clock 10 seconds after the last button operation during radio reception and CD playback. To show the radio/CD operation display, press

SNOOZE/DISPLAY.

For Better Reception

FM: Extend the FM wire antenna fully.

AM: Turn the unit to find the position which gives the best reception.

Note

Do not connect the FM wire antenna to an external antenna.

Escuchando con los auriculares

Conecte los auriculares estéreo (no suministrados) con la minitoma estéreo en la toma PHONES. Se escuchan en estéreo las transmisiones en estéreo.

Cuando se conectan los auriculares, no se escuchará el sonido del altavoz.

Cuando cambia la indicació n en el reloj

La unidad se ajustó de fábrica para cambiar la indicación al reloj despué s de 10 segundos de tocar el ú ltimo botó n de funcionamiento, durante la recepción de la radio o reproducción de disco compacto. Para mostrar la indicación del funcionamiento de la radio/disco compacto, presione SNOOZE/DISPLAY.

Para una mejor recepció n

FM: Extienda completamente la antena de cable FM.

AM: Gire el aparato para encontrar la posición donde la recepción sea la mejor posible.

Nota

No conecte la antena de cable FM a una antena externa.

Ecoute avec des é couteurs

Raccordez des écouteurs stéréo (non fournis) avec minifiche stéréo à la prise PHONES. Les émissions stéréo seront audibles en stéréo.

Quand les écouteurs sont raccordés, le son du haut-parleur sera inaudible.

Quand l’affichage passe à l’horloge

L’appareil est réglé à l’usine pour faire passer l’affichage à l’horloge 10 secondes après la dernière sollicitation de touche pendant la réception radio et la lecture de CD. Pour afficher l’écran de fonctionnement de la radio/CD, appuyez sur SNOOZE/ DISPLAY.

Pour amé liorer la ré ception

FM: Déployez complètement l’antenne-fil FM.

AM: Tournez l’appareil pour trouver la position offrant la meilleure réception.

Remarque

Ne raccordez pas l’antenne-fil FM à une antenne extérieure.
