To create a screen unlock pattern (refer to section11.5.2 for detailed settings)

•Touch the Application tab from the Home screen, then touch Settings\ Location & security\Set up screen lock\Pattern.

•Read the useful information and watch the drawing of an example pattern. When ready, touch Next.

•Draw your own pattern, you can also press Menu key for help.

Touch to confirm by drawing pattern again

To create a screen unlock PIN/Password

•Touch the Application tab from the Home screen, then touch Settings\ Location & security\Set up screen lock\PIN or Password.

•Set your PIN or password.

To lock phone screen

Press Power key once to lock the screen.

To unlock phone screen

Draw the unlock pattern you have created, or enter PIN or password to wake up the screen. If you did not set the unlock screen, drag down the lock icon to unlock it.

Touch from the Home screen to enter the applications list. To return to the Home screen, press Home key.

Consult recently-used applications

To consult recently-used applications, you can press and hold the Home key from the Home screen. Touch an icon in the window to open the related application.
