AT-FH812u and AT-FH824u User’s Guide

The User Passwords screen is used to display or modify user names and passwords for the on-board configuration program. There are two user types: Administrator and Guest. Only the Administrator has write access for parameters governing the SNMP agent. You should, therefore, assign a user name and password to the Administrator as soon as possible, and store it in a safe place.

Passwords can consist of up to 14 alphanumeric characters and are not case sensitive. The configuration program will allow a user three attempts at entering a password before locking the user out by terminating the connection. If for some reason your password is lost, or you can not gain access to the System Configuration Program, contact Allied Telesyn tech support for assistance. System password parameters are defined in Table 15.
