B: DiskOnChipâ Installation

To install a DiskOnChipâ memory to the provided socket, follow the instructions below;
1.Make sure the computer is turned off
2.Insert the DiskOnChipâ memory device into the onboard socket. Make sure that pin 1 of the DiskOnChipâ is aligned with the pin 1 of the socket.
3.Power up the computer
4.During the power up, the DiskOnChipâ drivers will be automatically loaded into the system memory.
5.At this time, the DiskOnChipâ can be accessed as any disk drive.
6.If it is the only disk in the system, it will appear as the first drive, drive C:.
7.If there are more drives already attached to the system, then by default, the DiskOnChipâ will appear as the last drive unless specially programmed.
8.If the DiskOnChipâ is to be bootable, then follow the steps below
a.Use DOS command to copy the operating files into the DiskOnChipâ
b.The DiskOnChipâ is to be configured as the first drive, drive C: in the system. Use the DUPDATE utility.
