Message counter displays
The message counter usually displays the total number of memos and incoming messages. See the list below for explanations of other displays in this counter.

F (flashing) | Memory is full. Messages must be deleted before |
| new messages can be received. |

CL (flashing) | Clock needs to be set (see page 32). |

A | Announcement only mode is on (see page 34). |

System is answering a call, or being accessed | |
