10.Lamp
10.2 ModeThis chapter covers information on the projector lam p.
Mode
When the lamp is set to ECO mode, the lamp is running at 264W. If the am bient temperature is higher than 35 degree Celsius,
lamp will operate at ECO mode. In this case, lamp mode s election is unavailable. Lamp mode s election is available once the
ambient temperature drops below 35 degree Celsius.
• ECO
When set to Eco mode, the wattage of the lamp will be at 264W. If the sur rounding environment is sufficiently dark o r if
you do not require intense brightness, you can set the la mp to Eco mode to prolong its usage life.
• Normal
When set to Normal mode, the wattage of the lam p will be at 350W. If the projection environment requires brighter
image, you can set the lamp to Normal for the highe st projection brightness.
• Power
If the image brightness at Eco mode is too dark for you a nd the Normal mode gets too bright, you c an set it to Power
to specify the power of the lamp yourself to make fine adj ustments to the brightness of the projected i mage.you could
encounter situations where the image from projecto r A being brighter than projector B. When this o ccurs, you can use
this function you could encounter situations wh ere the image from projector A being brighter tha n projector B. When this
occurs, you can use this function to fine tune t he brightness of the two projectors to achieve con sistent image brightness.
To access this function, go to the Advanced Menu —> LA MPS —> Power and adjust accordingly.
10.3 La mpsDepending on the application condition , either single lamp or dual lamps can be sele cted via Advanced menu. When the
projector was switched from single lamp to dua l lamps, an hourglass OSD will block the user from t he further OSD operation
for 7 seconds. When the projector was switched f rom dual lamp mode to single lamp, the lamps sel ection OSD will be
blocked for 90 seconds for lamp cooling. The la mp power can be adjusted from 80% ~ 100%.
• Single
When the projection environment is suffic iently dark that a single lamp could achieve the de sired projection brightness,
you can choose to use one single lamp. The projector will automatically determine t he usage hours for lamp1 and lamp2
and choose the lamp with lower hours for the op eration.
• Dual
When you require brighter image from the projec tor, please operate the projector with Dual lamps.
