14.3 Clean the dust filter(for outlet Ventilation)
1. Remove most contamination with a vacuum cleaner.
2. Blow rem aining dust away with compressed air in an other roo m or outside.

14.4 Cleaning the lens
To minimize the possibility of damage to optical coatin gs, or scratches to lens surfaces, we have developed
recommendations for cleaning. FIRST, we recommend you t ry to remove any material from the lens by
blowing it off with clean, dry deionized air. DO NOT us e any liquid to clean the lenses.

Necessary tools

Toraysee TM cloth (delivered together with the lens kit). Order number : R379058.

How to clean the lens ?

3. A lways wipe lenses with a CLEAN Toraysee TM cloth.
4. Wip e lenses in a one single direction.
Warning: Do not wipe back and forwards across the lens sur face as this tends to grind dirt into the coating.
5. Do n ot leave the cleaning cloth in either an open room or lab coat p ocket, as doing so can contaminate the cloth.
6. If smea rs occur when cleaning lenses, replace the cloth. Sm ears are the first indication of a dirty cloth .
CAUTION: Do not use fabric softener when washing the cl eaning cloth or softener sheets when dr ying the
cloth.
Do not use liquid cleaners on the cloth as doing s o will contaminate the cloth.
Other lenses can also be cleaned safely with this Toraysee TM cloth.
14.5 Cleaning the exterior of the projector

How to clean the exterior of the projector ?

1. Switch off the projector and unplug the projec tor from the mains power net.
2. Clea n the housing of the projector with a damp cloth. Stu bborn stains may be removed with a cloth lightly da mpened
with a mild detergent solution.
