12.1 About warping
Overview
Image warping is the process of digitally manipulating an image to compensate for the distortion of the
screen. Consequently, it can also be used to generate an image with irregular shape.
While an image can be transformed in various ways, pure warping doesn’t a ffect the colors.

Creation of warping settings
Warping settings can be created via Warping com mands which are directly sendto selected device(s) or
via a warp user interfacewhich allows to m anipulate almost any point on any place in the image so that
thedesired image is displayed. The settings created via the user interface can be stored in a file and this
file can be downloaded in the selected device(s). Once the file is downloaded it can be recalled via DMX
channel 56. For more info, consult the user gui de of the DML.
