Logon to Configure Mode (Configure Terminal Mode).

Use the no portname to cancel the ascii name of port.

LINE specifies the ascii name of port.

The following example shows the use of the portname command to specify the ascii name fe1 for the interface fe1 (port 1): switch_a(config)#interface fe1
