Making phone calls

Prerequisite: To make a phone call, the following requirements must be met:

•The wireless coverage indicator must show a level of wireless coverage.

•NXTL, NxTL, NXTl, NXtl, or Nxtl must appear with the wireless coverage indicator on the Home screen.

Make a call

Note: If you are using a headset, insert the headset connector into the headset jack on the side of the handheld.

1. Click the Phone icon. The Phone screen appears.

2.With your cursor in the empty field at the top of the screen, type a phone number.

3.Press Enter. The phone number is dialed.
