4. Starting Your Dishwasher
After you've prepared your dishes, loaded your dishwasher, and added
dishwashing detergent and rinse aid, you may start your dishwasher.
To start your dishwasher, you need to know how to:

A.Select the Proper Wash Cycle
Dishwashing needs will vary from household to household. Here are some
general guidelines that will help you select the proper wash cycle for the best cleaning. Remember, not every model of Bosch dishwasher will have every available wash cycle, so you should took to the Model Features Chart on page 6 in this manual to find out which cycles your model has.

B. Operate the Controls
Though there are many models of Bosch dishwashers, there are only two basic types, based on the location of the control buttons:
1)Front Controt, with buttons on the front of the dishwasher door, as shown in Figure 27, and
2)Top Control, with the buttons on the top edge of the dishwasher door, as shown in Figure 28. Front Control
1.Ctose the dishwasher door and make sure it is securely shut.
2.Press the On/Off button.
3.Press the button for the wash cycte desired.
4.The dishwasher witt start and automatically continue operating untit the
