4Select the PS-9000 to be set up, and then click [Next].

If the product is not displayed in the list, click [Search].

Alternatively, you can type in the Ethernet address of the product that you want to set up.

If you want to reset the product to its factory default settings, click [Initialize] and follow the instructions.

5Specify the IP address.

If “Assign an IP address” is selected (recommended)

In the following dialog box that appears, type in the IP address, subnet mask and default gateway. Consult your network administrator for the appropriate settings.

If “Obtain an IP address automatically” is selected

In an environment with a DHCP/ BOOTP server, the IP address of the PS-9000 is automatically assigned.

Caution

After setup, the IP address may change when the unit is turned off, then turned on again. In that case, the PS-9000 must be set again and the printing software must be reinstalled.
