Step 2. On 8 thru 18 section boilers, locate intermediate top panel(s) and install in order of assembly shown in Table XI. Position panel between outer top corner panes. Slide forward to engage locking tabs into slotted openings on previously installed panel, see Figure 30b. Secure rear flange with two (2) #8 x ½” lg SMS. Repeat until intermediate panels reach supply manifold.

Step 3. Position jacket rear top panel between outer top corner panels behind supply manifold. Slide forward until locking tabs are engaged into slotted openings on previously installed panel. Secure panel to rear clips on outer corner panels with two

(2)#8 x ½” lg. SMS. Refer to Figure 30c.

L.Install Burner Swing Door (BSD) on Block Assembly hinges, see Figure 31. Move BSD to front of boiler. Position door on the Floor, standing up, perpendicular

to front of boiler (full open position).
