Step 2 Open the G3/G4 case by gently grasping the handle and pulling up.
Lay the lid open flat on the work surface. This will expose the case interior and allow access to the PCI slots. Note that the slot may be either 32 bit or 64 bit, depending upon the type of system. The PCI card edge connector contains “key” notches that correspond to dividers in the motherboard slot. It is very important to align the key notches with the matching dividers in the slot. Failure to align the notches correctly could cause the card or slot to be damaged.
