3. Configuration

This chapter explains how to view and edit the configuration of the SSIM-H2-02 using a VT100 terminal emulator attached directly to the SmartStack STS16-20RM Token Ring switch. The SSIM-H2-02 configuration can also be modified from a remote VT100 console via a Telnet session. (The manual supplied with the SmartStack STS16-20RM Token Ring Switch describes how to connect a network management console).
