Collegamento al computer

Collegare lo scanner al computer.

ATTENZIONE

SUGGERIMENTO

Prima di collegare lo scanner al computer, non mancare di spegnere sia lo scanner che il computer.

Gli elementi seguenti occorrono anche per collegare lo scanner:

Scheda SCSI

Controllare che nel personal computer sia stata installata una scheda SCSI. Utilizzare una scheda SCSI compatibile con l’applicazione driver che si sta utilizzando.

Cavo SCSI

Il connettore SCSI dello scanner è un connettore D-Sub half-pitch a 50 pin (tipo a pin).

Controllare la forma del connettore sulla scheda SCSI del computer e sulla periferica SCSI collegata al computer e preparare un cavo SCSI compatibile con il connettore che può essere collegato allo scanner.

Per collegare lo scanner al computer attenersi alla procedura seguente.

1.Collegare lo scanner al computer tramite il cavo SCSI. (P. 24)

2.Impostare l’ID SCSI e il terminatore. (P. 25)

Collegamento del cavo SCSI

Prima di collegare il cavo SCSI, assicurarsi che lo scanner e il computer siano spenti.

ATTENZIONE

Collegare il computer allo scanner utilizzando il cavo SCSI.

Lo scanner, sul retro è dotato di due connettori. Inserire il cavo SCSI dal computer in uno di questi connettori.

Per collegare un’altra periferica SCSI al computer, inserire l’altro cavo SCSI nel connettore SCSI libero sul retro dello scanner e collegare l’altra estremità del cavo SCSI nella periferica SCSI formando una catena a margherita.
