Advanced BoxFax Forwarding & Fax Received Notification
Similar to the FaxForwarding function, imageRUNNER ADVANCE systems support the capability
to define separate forwarding rulesbased on the line upon which the fax was received. Each
faxcan be routed to a specific shared or personal space Advanced Box location, database, file
server, ConfidentialFax inbox or another fax device. When used in conjunction with the Job
Forwarding to Advanced Boxfunction, the Fax Received Notification feature sends an e-mail to
designated recipientsto immediately alert them of a new fax.
FaxDestination Confirmation
To help preventfaxed documents from being inadvertently sent to the wrong destination,
imageRUNNER ADVANCEsystems offer a Confirm Entered Fax Number feature for additional
protection. When enabled on the device byan administrator, users will be prompted to
re-enter the recipient’sfax number prior to sending in order to confirm that it matches the
originalone specified. If the fax numbers do not match, the user will be prompted to enter the
originalnumber again and re-confirm.

FaxMail Box and Advanced Box Fax Security
Incoming faxeson imageRUNNER ADVANCE systems can be automatically routed to a
designated MailBox or Advanced Box, which can be password-protected to prevent the
contentsfrom being viewed by unauthorized individuals.
