The NPE-G1 and the I/O controller C7200 I/O-GE+E on the Cisco 7200 VXR routers use Gigabit Ethernet Gigabit Interface Converters (GBICs). The NPE-G1 uses Gigabit Ethernet Coarse Wavelength- Division Multiplexing (CWDM) GBICs as well.
