Transferring Calls
Transfer redirects a connected call. The target is the number to which you want to transfer the call.
Tips
If on-hook transfer is enabled on your phone, you can either hang up to complete the call, or press
Tran sfe r and then hang up.
If on-hook transfer is not enabled on your phone, hanging up without pressing Tra nsf er again
places the call on hold.
You cannot use Tran sfe r to redirect a call on hold. Press Resume to remove the call from hold
before transferring it.
The Transfer feature is disabled on a Call Chaperone user’s Cisco Unified IP Phone when the calls
are being chaperoned.
