Configuring Interface Buffers
Enabling Buffer-to-Buffer Credit Recovery
Buffer-to-buffer credit recovery on ISLs (E or TE ports) is enabled by default.

To configure the receive data field size, follow these steps:
Command Purpose
Step 1 switch# config t
switch(config)#
Enters configuration mode.
Step 2 switch(config)# interface fc 1/1
switch(config-if)#
Selects the interface and enters interface
configuration submode.
Step 3 switch(config-if)# switchport fcbbscn Enables buffer-to-buffer credit recovery on the
interface.
switch(config-if)# no switchport fcbbscn Disables (default) buffer-to-buffer credit recovery
on the interface.
