Changing the Pruning-Eligible List
Thepruning-eligible list applies only to trunk ports. Each trunk port has its own eligibility list. VTP pruning
mustbe enabled for this procedure to take effect.

Separatenon-consecutive VLAN IDs with a comma and no spaces;
usea hyphen todesignate a range of IDs. ValidIDs are 2 to 1001.
Extended-rangeVLANs (VLAN IDs 1006 to 4094) cannot be pruned.
VLANsthat arepruning-ineligible receive flooded traffic.
Thedefault list of VLANs allowed to be pruned contains VLANs 2 to
1001.
Toreturn to the default pruning-eligible list of all VLANs,
usethe no switchporttrunk pruning vlan interface
configurationcommand.
