5.2 M12-D 4-PIN CONNECTOR (ETHERNET) In Matrix 400 xxx-x1x models, an M12 D-Coded connector is provided for the on-board
Ethernet connection. This interface is IEEE 802.3 10 BaseT and IEEE 802.3u 100 BaseTx
compliant. See par. 5.7 for connection details.

The allowed supply voltage range is 10 to 30 Vdc.
The signals relative to the following serial interface types are available on the M16 19-pin
connector:
The main serial interface type and its parameters (baud rate, data bits, etc.) can be
defined by the user via VisiSetâ„¢ software. The RS485 half duplex is automatically set
whenever MUX32 communication protocol is enabled. For more details refer to the
"Communication" folder in the VisiSetâ„¢ Help On Line.
