Installing the System-Board Shield

1.Align the system-board shield on the system board. Tighten the screws to secure it to the computer.

2.Install:

a.back cover

b.stand

c.stand cover

3.Follow the procedures in After Working Inside Your Computer.

Removing the Heatsink

1.Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer.

2.Remove:

a.stand cover

b.stand

c.back cover

d.system-board shield

3.Perform the following steps as shown in the illustration:.

a.Remove the screw that secure the heatsink to the computer [1].

b.Remove the screws that secure around CPU to the computer [2].

c.Lift and remove the heatsink from the computer [3].
