将信息转移到新计算机

Microsoft® Windows® XP 操作系统提供了文 件 和设置转移 向导,用于将数据从源计算机转移到新计算机。您可以转移以下数据:

电子邮件信息

工具栏设置

窗口大小

Internet 书签

您可以通过网络或串行连接将数据传输到新计算机,或者将数据存储在可移动介质(例如可写 CD 或软盘)中以便将其传输到新计算机。

注 :您可以通过将串行电缆直接连接至两台计算机的输入/输出 (I/O) 端口从而将信息从旧计算机传输到新计算机。要通过串行连接传输数据,您必须访问“Control Panel”( 控 制 面 板 )中的“Network Connections”(网络 连接 )公用程序,并执行其它配置步骤(例如,设置“advanced”[高级] 连接和指定“host”[主 机] 计算机和“guest” [客户机] 计算机)。

注 :此过程需要操 作 系统 CD。此 CD 是可选的,并非所有计算机都附带此 CD。

要准备新计算机以进行文件转移,请:

1.启动“Files and Settings Transfer Wizard”( 文 件 和设置转移 向导)

2.系统显示“Files and Settings Transfer Wizard”( 文 件 和设置转移 向导)欢迎屏幕时,单击“Next”( 下 一步)

3.“Which computer is this?”(这是哪台计算 机 ? )屏幕上,单击“New Computer”( 新计算 机 ),并单击“Next”( 下 一步)

4. 在“Do you have a Windows XP CD?”(您有 Windows XP CD 吗? )屏幕上,单击“I will use the wizard from the Windows XP CD”( 我将使 用 Windows XP CD 中 的 向导),并单击“Next”( 下 一步)

5.系统显示“Now go to your old computer”(请 转到您的旧计算 机 )屏幕时,转到您的旧(源)计算机。此时请勿单击“Next”( 下 一步)

要复制旧计算机的数据,请:

1.将 Windows XP 操 作 系统 CD 放入旧计算机。

2.“Welcome to Microsoft Windows XP”(欢迎 使 用 Microsoft Windows XP)屏幕上,单击“Perform additional tasks”(执行 其 他 任务)

3.“What do you want to do?”(您希 望 做 什么? )下,单击“Transfer files and settings”(转移 文 件 和设置 )

4.“Files and Settings Transfer Wizard”( 文 件 和设置转移 向导)欢迎屏幕中,单击“Next”( 下 一步)

5.“Which computer is this?”(这是哪台计算 机 ? )屏幕上,单击“Old Computer”(旧计算 机 ),并单击“Next”( 下 一步)

6.“Select a transfer method”(选 择 转移 方 法 )屏幕上,单击您要使用的转移方法。

7.“What do you want to transfer?”( 要转移哪些项目 ? )屏幕上,选择要转移的项目,然后单击“Next”( 下 一步)

信息复制完成后,系统将显示“Completing the Collection Phase”(正在完成收集阶段 )屏幕。
