19 Removing the Mini-Card

If you ordered a wireless Mini-Card with your computer, the card is already installed.

Prerequisites

1Remove the base cover. See "Removing the Base Cover" on page 27.

2Remove the battery. See "Removing the Battery" on page 17.

3Remove the keyboard. See "Removing the Keyboard" on page 21.

4Remove the palm rest. See "Removing the Palm Rest" on page 45.

Procedure

1Disconnect the antenna cables from the connectors on the Mini-Card.

2Remove the screw that secures the Mini-Card to the connector on

the system board.
