35 Removing the Display Hinges

Prerequisites

1Remove the switch. See "Removing the Switch" on page 13.

2Remove the battery. See "Removing the Battery" on page 17.

3Remove the base cover. See "Removing the Base Cover" on page 27.

4Remove the keyboard. See "Removing the Keyboard" on page 21.

5Remove the palm rest. See "Removing the Palm Rest" on page 45.

6Remove the display assembly. See "Removing the Display Assembly" on page 71.

7Remove the display bezel. See "Removing the Display Bezel" on page 77.

Procedure

1Turn the display assembly over.

2Remove the screws that secure the display hinges to the display cover.
