1Pull the pull-tab to disconnect the hard-drive cable from the system-board connector.
2Remove the screws that secure the hard-drive assembly to the computer base.
3Make a note of the hard-drive cable routing and remove the cable from the routing guides.
4Lift the hard-drive assembly along with its cable away from the computer base.
