26 Replacing the Fan

Procedure

1Place the fan in the slot on the computer base.

2Connect the fan cable to the connector on the system board.

Postrequisites

1Replace the palm rest. See "Replacing the Palm Rest" on page 49.

2Replace the keyboard. See "Replacing the Keyboard" on page 25.

3Replace the base cover. See "Replacing the Base Cover" on page 29.

4Replace the battery. See "Replacing the Battery" on page 19.

5Follow the instructions in "After Working Inside Your Computer" on page 11.
