Installing the Control Panel

CAUTION: Only trained service technicians are authorized to remove the system cover and access any of the components inside the system. See your Product Information Guide for complete information about safety precautions, working inside the computer, and protecting against electrostatic discharge.

5Place the new control panel board in the system and secure it with the two Phillips screws. See Figure 3-15.

The front edge of the board fits under the three L-shaped tabs on the chassis.

6Connect the control panel cable to the control panel board.

7Close the system. See "Opening and Closing the System" on page 38.

8Reconnect the system to the power source and turn on the system and attached peripherals.
