Speaker Setup

Default settings are underlined.

 

 

Perform when setting the speakers manually or when changing settings made in Audyssey® Auto Setup.

If you change the speaker settings after performing Audyssey® Auto Setup, it will not be possible to select Audyssey MultEQ®, Audyssey Dynamic EQ® and Audyssey Dynamic Volume® (vpage 54, 55).

Do not use the outward shape of the speaker to determine selection of a “Large” or “Small” speaker. Instead, use the frequencies set in “Crossover Freq.” (vpage 61) as the standard for determining bass reproduction capability.

1spkr : Use only one surround back speaker. When you select this

setting, connect the surround back speaker to the left (L) channel.

Even when the “S.Back“ setting is other than “None”, sound may not be emitted from the surround back speaker, depending on the playback source. In this case, make “Surr.Parameter” – “S.Back” setting other than “OFF” (vpage 53).

NOTE

When “Pre Assign” setting (vpage 59) is “NORMAL”, you can make the “S.Back” setting.
