Connection Scenarios

The Diva 2440 has both a USB port and an Ethernet port. B oth ports can be used at the same

time, providing some flexibility in how you set up your equipment. You can also connect the

Ethernet port to a third-party Ethernet h ub.

One Computer

For all operating systems that support an Ethernet network card, you may connect to the

Diva 2440 via the Ethernet port. If you are using Windows 98, Windows 2000, or Wi ndows

Millennium Edition, you can connect a single computer to either the USB por t or the Ethernet

port.

Two Computers atOnce

You can connect two computers to the Diva244 0 for simultaneous access to your ADSL line.

One computer is connected to the USB port and the other to the Et hernet port. The computer

connected to the USB port must be using Windows 98/2000/Me.
