VENTING FIREPLACE - TOP (continued)Installation of Flue Heat Shield
1. Remove ue insulation.
2. Remove (2) screws on outside of inlet vent adapter.
See Figure 18.
3. Lift top shield placing ue heat shield around ue.
4. Repla ce (2) sc rews on o utsi de of inl et vent ad apte r.
See Figure 19.
5. Bend tab at top front of ue heat shield if necessary to maintain
air gap between ue pipe and ue heat shield.
6. Replace ue insulation.
