CHAPTER 4

VLAN MIB OBJECTS

4.1 OVERVIEW

This chapter describes the MIB objects that relate to configuring 802.1Q VLANs. The MIB system groups described alphabetically in this chapter are as follows:

•Bridge Configuration

•Configuration Entries

•Device Entries

•Egress Table

•Filter GVRP

•Static MAC Address Entries

For procedures describing how to configure VLANs, refer to Chapter 3, Configuring VLANs Using SNMP.

4.2 BRIDGE CONFIGURATION

The els10-27VlanBridgeConfig group manages the overall configuration of the bridge’s VLAN resources.

The implementation of this group is MANDATORY.

The OBJECT-TYPE is from RFC-1212.

4.2.1 VLAN Version Number

Specifies the version of IEEE 802.1Q VLAN that has been implemented. A value of 1 will be returned.
