For single-sheet labels :
❑Load sheets of labels into the manual feed slot one sheet at
a time. Otherwise, they may not feed properly. See
“Loading paper manually” on page 7-5. Also, see Appendix
C for specifications.
❑Only use labels that comple tely cover the backing sh eet;
otherwise, they may peel off and jam the printer.
❑Make sure that the printable surface of the labels is face up.
For continuous labels:
❑Choose labels mounted on a continuous backing sheet wit h
sprocket holes for use with the tractor feeder.
❑Make sure the printing stays entirely within the printable
area. See Appendix C for specifications.
❑Make sure you load labels with the printable surface face up.
❑Make sure the auto tear-off feature is set to off in the
default-setting mode when using continuous labels.
❑Do not leave labels loaded in the printer between jobs; they
may curl around the platen and jam when you resume
printing.
