5. Lift the cartridge out of the printer and dispose of it properly.
Do not take the use d cartridge apart or try to refill it.
wWarning:
If ink gets on your hands, wash them thoroughly with soap
and water. If ink gets into your eyes, flush them
immediately with water.
cCaution:
Leave the old cartridge installed in the printer until you
are ready to replace it with a new one.
6. Open the ink cartridge package. Next, remove only the
yellow tape seal from the cartridge as shown below.
cCaution:
❑You must remove the yellow tape seal from the
cartridge. Leaving the tape on when you install the
cartridge will permanently damage it.
❑Do not remove the tape seal from the bottom of the
cartridge; otherwise, ink will leak.
7. Lower the ink cartridge into the cartridge holder with
the label on the cartridge face up and the arrow on the
cartridge pointing to the rear of the printer. The color ink
cartridge goes on the right, the black ink cartridge on the
left.
