Epson 1520 Printer utilities

Dots are missing in printed characters or graphics.
Cause What to do
For DOS users:
The Network I/F mode is set
to off. Set the Network I/F mode to on in the default-setting mode as described in
“Changing the default settings” in
Chapter 8.
Printer utilities
The Status Monitor window does not appear when you are
using Windows 95.
Cause What to do
The Use Print Manager for
this port option is checked in
the Queue Setup window.
Make sure Use Print Manager for this
port box is not checked. Click the
Start button, point to Programs, point
to Epson, and click Spool Manager4.
Then click Queue and Setup in the
EPSON Spool Manager window.
Enable bi-directional
support for this printer is not
selected in the Spool Settings
window.
You must select Enable bi-directional
support for this printer in the Spool
Settings window to use the Status
Monitor. To access the Spool Se ttings
window, click the Start button, point
to Settings, and click Printers.
Right-click the icon for your printer
and choose Properties from the
drop-down menu. Click the Details
tab; then click Spool Settings. Select
Enable bi-directional support for
this printer.
