Presenting with the Remote Control

The projector includes a number of tools to enhance your presentation. All of them can be accessed using the remote control, which lets you operate the projector from anywhere in the room—up to 20 feet away.

You can use the remote control to adjust the picture and sound (page 30) or as a pointer to highlight your presentation (page 33). You can also use it as a wireless mouse when projecting from a computer (page 34), or to control two or more projectors at the same time (page 35).

Copy your files to the projector Page Maintaining the Projector Clean the lens whenever you notice dirt or dust on the surface Use a canister of compressed air to remove dust Before you clean the case, turn off the projector and unplug the power cord ■To remove dirt or dust, wipe the case with a soft, dry, lint-freecloth 154Maintaining the Projector 1.Turn off the projector and unplug the power cord You can remove the air filter to clean both sides (see page 158) It is time to replace the lamp when: ■The projected image gets darker or starts to deteriorate The message as soon as possible ■The lamp warning light flashes red (the lamp is burnt out) Follow these steps to replace the lamp and air filter: 4.Loosen the two screws holding the lamp in place (you can’t remove them) 5.
